Teacher Portal

When the teacher portal is switched on, every teacher signs in with their own ID and sees only their own work: their classes, taking attendance, homework, entering marks, their own attendance and salary, notices and leave applications. The office does less, and nobody can touch another class by mistake. It is a free module.

What the office controls

In the teacher portal settings the office switches four things on or off: taking attendance, homework, homework SMS and entering marks. When one is switched off, that tab disappears from every teacher’s portal. Homework SMS costs money, so it starts switched off. The same page shows each teacher’s login ID and lets the office set a new password.

How teachers sign in

  1. When adding a teacher, switch login on and give a role and a mobile number.
  2. The teacher signs in on the normal Sabaq login page with their mobile number, registration number or email.
  3. They use the password given by the office the first time, then change it from their profile.
  4. From then on, signing in opens the teacher portal directly.

The teacher portal in the mobile app

The Sabaq app has both the class work and the teacher’s own tabs. Without internet, attendance, marks and homework without a photo are kept on the phone and sent when the connection returns. The salary screen needs internet. More on the app page.
