About Sabaq: A Madrasa Software Company in Bangladesh

Sabaq is a madrasa software company in Bangladesh, based in Brahmanbaria, that builds and supports Sabaq Madrasa Management Software: a Bangla first cloud system with a parent and teacher Android app, used by more than 639 madrasas in 62 districts. This page explains who we are, what we are trying to do, how the reseller network works and how to reach us.

Who is behind Sabaq madrasa software company in Bangladesh?

Sabaq is built by a small team working from Titas Twin Tower in Moulvipara, Brahmanbaria Sadar, in eastern Bangladesh. The product began as a practical answer to a local problem: madrasas around us were keeping admissions, fees, chanda (regular community contribution) and hifz (Quran memorisation) records on paper or in Excel, and the general school software on the market did not speak their language, literally or organisationally. We wrote Sabaq in Bangla from the first screen, shaped it around jamaat (class level) structures, hifz registers and committee accounts, and kept the price at a level a small madrasa can afford. Today the same team builds the software, runs the hosting, records the Bangla tutorial videos and answers the support line.

What is our mission?

To give every madrasa in Bangladesh, whatever its size or system, honest accounts, reliable records and parents who know how their child is doing, without asking the madrasa to change how it works or to learn English. We measure that by three things: whether the office still uses the system a year after installation, whether the committee gets its monthly statement without chasing, and whether parents open the app. Software that is bought and then abandoned helps nobody, so installation always includes training, and support stays available by phone and WhatsApp afterwards.

Who uses Sabaq?

More than 639 madrasas in 62 districts. The largest groups are in Dhaka, Chattogram, Gazipur, Cumilla, Mymensingh, Narayanganj, Rangpur, Gopalganj, Noakhali and Bhola, and the full list with each madrasa’s name and address is public on our Bangla client list page. Clients include Qawmi madrasas with hifz and kitab departments, Alia madrasas, standalone hifz and noorani madrasas, and Islamic schools. We do not publish testimonials with invented names; if you want to speak to an existing client in your district before deciding, ask us and we will put you in touch.

How does the reseller and representative network work?

Sabaq reaches madrasas outside Brahmanbaria mainly through district representatives and resellers. A representative earns a 40 percent revenue share on the subscriptions they bring in and sets their own installation fee for the local setup and training they provide. Representatives already serve several districts, including Khulna, Bhola, Rajshahi and Rangpur, and we are recruiting in others. Anyone with madrasa contacts and basic computer skills can apply through the Bangla reseller programme page. Where there is no representative, a madrasa is served directly from our office.

How do we work with NGOs, donors and partners?

Organisations that fund or oversee several madrasas sometimes ask us to set up Sabaq for a group of institutions at once, so that each madrasa keeps its own account while the sponsor gets consistent reports on attendance, fees and accounts. If that describes you, write to hello@sabaaq.com with the number of madrasas and districts involved and we will propose a plan. Each madrasa’s data stays in its own account, and any sponsor level reporting is arranged with that madrasa’s agreement.
